House League Overview

Our House League program is where it all begins! Designed for girls ages 4 to 13, this grassroots, recreational league focuses on developing basketball skills while building confidence and a love for the game.

With over 300 players and volunteers involved each year, the program offers a supportive and energetic environment where every girl matters. Using age-appropriate training methods rooted in research on growth and development, players learn, improve, and have fun every step of the way.

No matter her skill level, every player receives encouragement, guidance, and the chance to shine.

The objectives of the House League Program are to:

  • Promote fun, friendships and fitness
  • Teach basketball skills in a progressive and consistent manner
  • Teach youth the values, qualities and skills that are required to succeed on and off the court
  • Exposure to competition, fair play and sportsmanship
  • Involve and develop the skills of coaches, volunteers, officials and parents within our Brantford Community
  • Build character, self-esteem, self-awareness and memories to last a lifetime
  • House League teams play from September to February
  • The season wraps up with a Year-End Fun Day
