VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Brantford CYO Girls Basketball is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. As the programs grow, so does the need for volunteers. Assisting Brantford CYO Girls Basketball is an ideal way to support your community, and to assist in the development of these young basketball players. High school students can complete volunteer hours. Below is a list of volunteer positions that CYO is looking for.
Available Positions
House League
Convener – sets up schedules, helps to set up teams, supervises games and solves disputes at a site once a week for the basketball season. Coach – follows Basketball Ontario Mega Hoops skill development, coaches a team once a week for the basketball season. Scorekeepers and Referees – always welcome, no preplanning necessary, reports to site convener.
Rep Teams
Coach – basketball experience necessary, high commitment, 2 practices a week, frequent evening games and weekend tournaments. All Coaches must have the NCCP level 1 certification. Complete Brantford CYO Girls Coach’s Application.
